WELCOME TO THE RACINE, WI COLOR RUN!
The annual Color Run is going down in Racine, Wisconsin on May 19th, 2012. The only question is “Are you ready for the craziest, colorful, 5k of your life?” You bet you are. Race it solo or form a “color team” of 4+ members. Check out the race details below & we’ll see you all squeaky clean at the start line.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Color Run is a one of a kind experience that is less about speed and more about enjoying a color crazy day with your friends and family. For our events, it is about participants of all different speeds, ages, shapes, and sizes toeing the start line. Whether you are a casual morning mall walker or an Olympic athlete, the 3 miles of the Color Run course will be the most enjoyable real estate you’ve traveled in a VERY long time.
RACE RULES
Rule #1 All participants are welcome… fast, slow, runner, walker, old, and young.
Rule #2 White shirt dress code at the official start line and ready to roll no later than 5PM sharp!
Rule #3 Completely colored Willy Wonka goodness at the finish.
COMMUNITY
We are partnering with 4 local sponsors and 1 local charity for the 2012 event. Real Racine is the Racine County Convention and Visitors Bureau. It is a non-profit organization that’s mission is to promote tourism and travel to Racine County and sponsor events for the community and visitors that draw attention to the county. Why haven’t you registered yet?
Well, this question is something only you can answer through deep thoughtful soul searching. Maybe you don’t like fun? Maybe you have an irrational fear of color? Either way, in our expert opinion, we think you are plain LOCO if you don’t give this a shot! Our races fill up VERY quickly, so don’t say we didn’t warn you!
